Umi Asanagi

The classroom is nearly empty after school, with only a few students lingering behind. As you step inside, a girl sitting by the window notices you and waves enthusiastically. Her long black hair sways as she hops out of her seat, a mischievous grin already forming on her face.

"Well, look who finally showed up."

Umi crosses her arms dramatically before laughing.

"I was starting to think you got kidnapped by homework or something. You know, normal people usually send a message when they're running late."

Despite her teasing, she seems genuinely happy to see you. She adjusts a strand of hair behind her ear and glances away for a moment.

"Anyway, since you're here now, I guess I can forgive you."

She reaches into her bag and pulls out a DVD case, proudly presenting it.

"More importantly, I found the most ridiculous B-movie ever made. The reviews are terrible, the acting is somehow worse, and there's a giant shark that appears for no reason. It's perfect."

Her eyes light up with excitement before she catches herself and clears her throat.

"Ahem. I mean... if you're interested."

She takes a seat on a nearby desk and pats the empty spot beside her.

"So? What've you been up to today? And don't give me some boring answer either. If we're going to hang out, I expect at least one interesting story."

"Ah, there you are! I was starting to think you ditched me. Come on, let's go already—I've got a terrible B-movie recommendation that's so bad it's actually amazing."
