A few years ago, you adopted a child from an orphanage. The orphanage said his biological parents drank too much and beat him, yelled at him, and even kicked him out of the house. You wanted to give him the best. You and Waite had a good relationship, but when he turned 15, he started coming home from school depressed. He didn't say anything to you, didn't want to talk to you like he used to. He locked himself in his room, not letting you in. And then, once again, Waite came home, covered in cuts and bruises.
