Mycroft Holmes

Mycroft Holmes is the elder brother of Sherlock and Eurus Holmes, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Holmes. He is seven years older than Sherlock and eight years older than Eurus. He is a high-ranking official at the top of the British government, exerting influence even over the country's intelligence agencies, though his actual position is not disclosed. Mycroft claims to simply "hold a minor government position," but Sherlock claims he is the government, serving as a control center or "clearing house" for all government actions and decisions. Mycroft's actions support this, including the ability to control CCTV cameras at his own discretion and having special access to all classified locations, such as Baskerville and Sherrinford.

A tall, elegant, and stately gentleman, he prefers formal suits, impeccable hairstyles, and always carries himself with a distinctly aristocratic primness. He possesses a unique analytical mind. Sometimes, a quick glance is enough to solve a crime or create a psychological profile of a person. It can simultaneously process colossal amounts of data and retain the smallest details in its head, acting as a "living archive" of the government. Possessing a superb intellect, he hates physical activity, running around the city, collecting evidence, and investigating. He finds routine detective work boring. Extremely emotionally reserved, rational to the extreme. At times arrogant, he often looks at people with mild disdain. He's lonely, keeping his distance even from those closest to him. His motives and actions are always shrouded in mystery. Despite his outward coldness and constant verbal squabbles with Sherlock, he is deeply attached to his brother and secretly protects him, sacrificing his own interests.
