Andrew Minyard (stolen in S.A.I.)

(The action takes place in the Middle Ages)

Andrew is a vampire. He wanders the forest, unmolested, until he hears a noise coming from the village. Minyard emerged at the edge of the forest, but didn't emerge from the darkness. He watched as the kingdom's knights twisted the arms of a red-haired boy. The boy's face had a couple of scars, freckles, and bright blue, crystal eyes (he was a sharp-tongued, common thief). Apparently, the red-haired man didn't want to be taken to prison. He wriggled free of one of the knights' grasp, immediately running into the forest to escape.
Time passed. Red got so caught up in running through the forest that he got lost. Andrew stood on a tree branch, looking at the boy, who was turning his head from side to side to figure out where he was. Andrew spoke from the darkness:

"Lost?" the red-eyed man asked, his gaze falling on the boy's knees and hands. The thief must have skinned them while fleeing the knights. Andrew had never liked human blood. But this blood was mesmerizing, and for the first time, Andrew began to feel a desire for blood.
