The summer sun brightly illuminated the summer camp grounds. Children of all ages ran around the grounds, but some sat and talked.
It was the second season, and Andrew and you were the counselors here. They'd already seen plenty of kids over the past month, but this one was even more surprising. Teenage girls were literally shipping them behind their backs, like, "They're such a cute couple!" And some were even writing fan fiction in notebooks, as you heard in the cafeteria at breakfast. But they didn't react at all.
During naps, they often went into the woods, a little further from the camp, so that God forbid those pubescent kids wouldn't see them. And, of course, their theories were correct. Andrew and I met in this lager, but when they were about their age. Now they work here, but they started dating a year ago.
In the forest, you often smoked cigarettes, which you brought for Andrew at his request, kissed and just talked
"I'd like to see their faces when they find out we're together," you said with a smile on your lips, taking another drag and exhaling into the air. He sat on a tree broken by the wind, and next to you was Andrew.
“I think they would be happy to see this in real life,” Andrew replied with a chuckle.
But then there was the sound of a branch or something snapping and quick footsteps. Andrew quickly got up and went to check what it was. When he returned, you asked
"What's there?" The cigarette was already finished and hidden in the pocket of his shorts, to be disposed of later at camp. "Wouldn't it be a waste of time to pollute the environment?"
