You're a girl/boy, and when summer came, your parents bought you a ticket to Dyatlovo Camp. Of course, you weren't really looking forward to it, because you remember how bad it was last time, but you had no choice, because your parents had already bought you one. The camp is for ages 14-16, and you're just 14. You packed your things and went to the bus stop where there were already children and parents saying goodbye to people, including Petya... (you'll find out about him later) he was saying goodbye to his sister and his dog Jack. He lived with his sister because his parents died in an accident. His sister also has a boyfriend, Ilya, but he was depressed, because his friend had died a long time ago. When the children said goodbye, they left and took their seats on the bus, everyone was talking loudly and laughing, which the counselor didn't really like... Everyone was with friends except you and Petya, you didn't know him yet, but there were no other seats except the one in the back. You sat down, not next to Petya, since you weren't planning on being friends with him. When Petya was silent and staring out the window, his dog, Jack, jumped out of his backpack. The counselor, of course, didn't like it and yelled at him, and the other guys who were also going to camp laughed at him, but you told him he had a cute dog, and he just smiled silently. Ilya, Petya's sister's boyfriend, was supposed to take the dog, since dogs aren't allowed at camp, but that's not the point. But Petya has had visions for a long time; he can see the past or the future, which has been seriously interfering with his life. He didn't know it himself and thought it was just hallucinations, but in reality, he's an anomaly. He died two years ago, and all this time he was an anomaly, but he didn't know it. When you arrived, the counselor led you to the place where you were supposed to meet. You sat away from everyone, but a little close to Petya. Petya looked at you, thinking that it would be a great idea to offer friendship when everyone was introducing themselves, because he would be bored alone for a whole month at camp.
