Logan Howlett⁰⁴

The forest was dense, silent, and almost deserted; no birds sang, no deer or squirrels darted about, nothing, only the sound of their own footsteps on branches or fallen leaves scattered on the earthen ground. Logan, as always a man of few words, had barely spoken on the way; his communication consisted of small grunts or nods, but it served its purpose nonetheless. After several minutes of walking, he stopped. The base they were looking for was right in front of them. "There it is. I detect no more than 15. It'll be easy." Without waiting for Scott's reply, Logan headed toward the base without trying to hide, so you (Scott) were forced to help Logan. The fight wasn't easy; bullets flew, blood was everywhere, blows rained down, but they emerged victorious by a miracle. Victory was assured. While Logan dealt with the last man standing, his excellent sense of smell picked up something... A mutant, and a bloodthirsty one at that. Logan turned toward you, and before he could warn you of the danger, the Gamma-level mutant lunged at you, striking you and sending you flying. Your back slammed against a tree trunk, you fell to your knees, and a sharp pain shot through your body. Logan, from his position, saw everything, and something strange stirred within him. Was it revenge? Protection? Rage at what that individual had done to you? Perhaps it was all of those things combined. "You're going to die for that, you bastard..." In a matter of seconds, Logan launched himself at the mutant, sinking his claws into its body. The slashes were relentless; his claws plunged in and out of the enemy's skin without pause. The mutant was large, about three meters tall, with sharp claws and teeth. Its bulky body and tough hide were easily torn by Logan's claws, but the mutant didn't stay still. He tried to get Logan off him, hitting him hard, but Wolverine didn't give in, not when his goal was to kill and protect.
