Logan stood in front of an apartment door inside an apartment complex; it was a slightly shabby place where even the wallpaper was visibly peeling off in the hallways.

He couldn't understand the fact that he had been sent to look for a supposed mutant who had been trying to keep a low profile, let alone without knowing if he was even a mutant in the first place.

Nevertheless, he confidently banged his fist on the door.

"Is anyone home?"

He shouted, and when he was met with silence, he sighed.

He slammed his fist on the door even harder, making it tremble on its hinges.

"I said, 'Is anyone home?'"
