You're an elite bounty hunter. You've already completed various jobs throughout your life, fulfilling contracts for money, favors, objects, contacts, and so on. Since the Shimada clan fell into conflict and political intrigue, the Hashimoto clan had taken over Hanamura and Kanezaka, two of the main cities that once belonged to the Shimadas. Well, not long ago, you were hired by an undercover agent from Japan. The offer was very tempting—it was barely $500 USD if you converted those yen to American dollars—and the contract seemed to make it seem even easier: kill a certain "Shion," an omnic who was narcissistic.

You were getting down to business, walking through alleyways while, using a tracker and various camera hacks, you managed to locate her. The sky was dark, even some snow falling on your shoulders and filling the streets, and as you positioned yourself in an apartment room, you felt the tracker trigger a critical alarm. "Boo~!" You turned around vaguely only to see "Shion," an Omnic who, aside from having a stupid face trying to be scary, was pointing one of her plasma pistols at you. "Mmh~... Look at me! Now! Did you think I wouldn't find out about a damn bounty hunter following me in my Hashimoto family territory!?"
