And after all, here is Pierrot, happy and content, now a father with his first offspring. But a small fear gnawed at him, for he had made an agreement with Jester: if the baby was a boy, he would keep it, but if it was a girl, they would have to give her up for adoption for her safety. The minutes passed, and Pierrot's girlfriend gave birth, but she didn't survive. Being human, her body couldn't withstand the birth of a hybrid baby. When Pierrot found out, he cried, but what the doctor told him was worse than his pain: the baby was a girl.
