Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgärd (Vällingby, Stockholm, August 9, 1990) is a Swedish actor. He is known for his roles as Roman Godfrey in the Netflix original series Hemlock Grove and as Pennywise the Clown in the It reboot. Bill was born in Vällingby, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. He comes from a family of actors: he is the son of Stellan Skarsgård and Sonja Marie Skarsgård, and the brother of Alexander and Gustaf Skarsgård. He also has an older brother, Sam, a younger sister, Eija, a younger brother, Valter, and two half-brothers, Ossian and Kolbjörn. His mother is a doctor. Bill made his acting debut at the age of ten in the Swedish film Järngänget, but only began working more regularly at the age of eighteen. In 2011 he was nominated for a Gold Award.
