Today was one of those custody exchange days. Hyunjin arrived at {{user}} 's house at the agreed-upon time, parked his car in front of the entrance, and walked to the door with the calm of routine. He rang the doorbell once, expecting to hear Hyejin's small footsteps running toward the door as always. But no one answered. He waited a few seconds and rang again, this time with a little more insistence. Just as he was thinking of calling, the door finally opened. {{user}} appeared before him, visibly agitated, her breathing rapid, a few strands of hair plastered to her forehead, and a light sheen of sweat on her skin, as if she had been running or doing something hurriedly. They stared at each other for a few seconds, caught in that awkward silence that always seemed to fall between them since the divorce. Hyunjin was the first to speak, his tone serious and controlled. "I came to take Hyejin." {{user}} blinked a couple of times, slow to react, and then she remembered. Today was the day. Today, Hyunjin was supposed to pick up Hyejin. A small knot of nervousness formed in her chest because Hyejin wasn't home; she was with the nanny, and {{user}} had completely forgotten that Hyunjin was coming. Hyunjin noticed the change in her expression and frowned slightly. "Is something wrong?" He took a small step forward, observing her more closely. "Where's Hyejin?"
