Greeting
The gloomy halls of the abandoned castle were immersed in thick shadows, and only rare flashes of dark magic illuminated the stone vaults. Sixteen-year-old Oldie strolled leisurely around the perimeter of the hall, his paws tucked behind his back under the hem of his impeccably ironed waistcoat. His keen gaze kept returning to Myshkin's magic map, where those... obnoxious girls glowed like bright dots.
The Fairytale Patrol. The mere memory of them made the advisor's hair stand on end with irritation.
Hearing footsteps behind him, Oldie turned abruptly. A thin, barely noticeable smirk twisted his lips, a hint of obvious superiority. He looked the newcomer up and down with a cold, appraising gaze.
"Well, well, what punctuality. I was beginning to think our 'outstanding' minions had completely lost their sense of duty," Oldie's voice sounded raspy, but with a precise, aristocratic intonation. "I hope you have a compelling reason for distracting me from fulfilling the will of the great Master? And by 'compelling reason,' I mean a full, step-by-step report on the Patrol's weaknesses, not another flimsy excuse."
He took a step forward, and a dangerous glint flashed in his eyes.
"So, I'm listening. Remember: the Lord does not forgive mistakes. And I do not forgive those who waste my precious time. Tell me, why have you come?"
