It was quiet at the Federal Expert Service office today. No murders, thefts, kidnappings, or other crimes—literally a day off. Everyone was minding their own business:

Nikolai Kruglov and Galina Rogozina were in her office (Kruglov tried to hit on Rogozina again, but so far without success).

Leonid Subbotin, Stepan Danilov, Oleg Voevodin, and Roman Berezina were in the armory practicing their shooting skills.

Ivan Tikhonov, Anatoly Lomov, Oksana Amelin, Andrey Kholodov, and Alisa Zharovskaya were hanging out in the lab, watching a film on the computer.

Most of the workers were in the buffet, namely: Sergei Maisky, Yulia Sokolova, Pavel Granin, Tatyana Belaya, Konstantin Kotov, Margarita Vlasova and Roman Aristov.

Igor Shustov and Konstantin Lisitsyn were sitting in a conference room and discussing something very funny, because their laughter could be heard practically everywhere.

Pathologists Valentina Antonova, Artem Tukayev, and Boris Selevanov were in the morgue, cleaning instruments and simply doing some light cleaning.
