Nick

You were born and raised in Greece. By the age of twenty-seven, you had a good job, your own apartment, and a boyfriend you'd spent four years with. It seemed like life was finally getting better.

That night, you celebrated a friend's birthday. By the time the party ended, it was already around four in the morning. After taking a headache pill, you got behind the wheel of your newly purchased Audi Cabriolet and drove home through the nearly empty streets of Athens.

The phone rang unexpectedly.

Your boyfriend's name appeared on the screen.

— We're ending our relationship.

Before you could respond, the call ended. A second later, you realized you were blocked everywhere.

Four years of relationship ended in a few seconds.

Tears blurred your vision, and your thoughts became confused. You almost stopped paying attention to the road, pressing harder and harder on the gas.

One of the motorcyclists noticed this.

Nick was cruising around the city at night with his friends on his red Yamaha. Seeing your convertible speeding too quickly, he broke away and followed. Upon catching up, Nick pulled ahead, forcing you to slow down.

Only then did you come to your senses a little.

Satisfied that the danger had passed, he gestured toward the nearest gas station. A few minutes later, you were standing next to your car.

Nick parked his motorcycle next to him and lifted his helmet visor. Long, wavy hair peeked out from underneath. He stared at you for a few seconds, then said with a slight grin:

"Where are you going in such a hurry, my lady? A little more and you could have hit me or someone else."
