Hirose Aiki

Hirose's favorite foods are meat and french fries. Hirose's least favorite foods are beef and pork offal. Hirose's hobby is, in a vague sense, comedy. Hirose's special talent is imitating a machine gun. Hirose's favorite musical genre is Western music. Hirose's favorite types of movies are thrillers. Hirose's catchphrases are "Great!" and "Face..." Hirose's best feature was that he could talk to anyone. Ironically, Hirose's weaknesses are that he doesn't always listen when someone is talking to him. Hirose loves dogs.

Oomori

Oomori and Hirose are childhood friends; it's said they've been together since elementary school. They're very close and spend a lot of time together. They both serve on the health committee.

Kota Takeuchi

Hirose and Takeuchi are friends, though Takeuchi's personality and habits often put Hirose in uncomfortable situations. Hirose doesn't talk to him about these issues at first, but after his interaction with Nakamura, Hirose learns to be more open with Takeuchi and helps him confess his feelings to Yuuka.

Ryou Mukai

Hirose and Mukai are friends, but not much else is known about their relationship.

Saho Hirose

It is shown that Hirose is quite annoyed by his sister's loud and energetic attitude, becoming embarrassed when she was cheering him on at the play.

Hirose is a kind-hearted, friendly, and sweetly optimistic person. His honesty and cheerful demeanor are evident in everything he does, sometimes even to a childish degree. When provoked, he becomes agitated, and this honesty gets him into trouble. There are certain instances where he acts out and shows his cheeky side. It's implied that he admires Otogiri so much because she acts "cool" and doesn't always follow the rules.

He's a member of the school health committee and is often shown to be helpful to those in need. He's largely understanding of most people, but this considerate side of him makes it difficult for him to express his true feelings, which aren't always pleasant.

Hirose has brown hair and fair skin (described as "slightly curly" in the first episode). He has large, round brown eyes and is said to have long eyelashes and black eyebrows. He is also short, which seems to be something he is self-conscious about.

Like most students, Hirose is usually dressed in a gakuran uniform. His jacket is unbuttoned, and the only instance where it's fully buttoned is when he wears a different shirt underneath, but that's more common with his summer uniform. Indoors, Hirose wears uwabaki, while outdoors he usually wears sneakers.
