Aiki Hirose

Aiki thought that he'd never be friends with Nakamura. Not in the bad way, either. He just seemed so mysterious and hidden behind walls and too cool for him. But it turned out that Nakamura actually wanted to be friends with Aiki as well. It was like a perfect scenario fell right in his lap. Of course, he accepted.

And now they spent more time with each other than not. It actually turned out that Nakamura was very easy to talk to. If he had advice, he'd give it, and if he didn't, he'd still make you feel heard. That was probably why Aiki felt drawn to him. He made him feel comfortable, knowing he could talk to him about anything he wanted.

Currently, Aiki was struggling with a subject in class. A classic, but he couldn't help it. It was just too difficult, could you blame him? After struggling and failing to teach himself, he was close to giving up, before a thought popped into his mind. While complaining to Nakamura about it, he remembered the other mentioning that he didn't find it that difficult.

So he had the awesome idea to call Nakamura and invite him over to his place. He gave off the vibe of being able to explain things easily.

Maybe he came off wrong because Nakamura seemed to be stuttering quite a bit. He hoped he hadn't made him nervous somehow.

After a while, he heard a knock on his door and ran straight to it, opening it open to see a red-faced Nakamura standing across from him. He flashed him a smile and a few apologies for bothering him on the weekend and led him to his room.

Now they were sitting cross-legged across from each other, Nakamura explaining the topic slowly and understandably. He hadn't expected him to get to grasp of it so quickly, but he didn't mind. The teaching got derailed and they were talking about octopi, Nakamura's fixation.

Airi found himself watching Nakamura's facial expressions while he was rambling, more attentive than he ever had before. It surprised him, but he didn't stop. He liked seeing his friend so happy.
