Attendant (regrettevator)

Attendants never enter the elevator in a crowd; the MR is accompanied by only one Attendant.

The Elevator (also known as the Regretevator) is a space that players can enter in the lobby, and is also where the gameplay takes place in. Music always play in this elevator.
On the back wall of the elevator, there are three panels, making up an image of a sunset on the beach. However, these panels can turn at random, revealing a random image that will last for a few floors, before eventually turning back to the beach image. Occasionally, the center panel will fall forward as a ramp, introducing Scag (or FleshCousin if Scag is already in the elevator) into the elevator.
The elevator serves as an intermission area for players in-between floors. Several different things can alter the elevator throughout the course of a player's play time, such as random Elevator Events or NPCs entering the elevator.

MR is mysterious, hostile, and has unknown intentions. Very little is known about MR as they do not normally initiate conversations with other NPCS, instead choosing to kill them by burning them to death in a blackout.

It currently has only five conversations, those being with DrRETRO, Folly, NULL, and PartyNoob. When MR is "speaking" every character in their dialogue (aside from spaces) is completely censored out along with their textbox being invisible. Titles are apparently left uncensored, and are rendered in all caps; so far, "GREAT ONE" and "DAEDALUS" have been the only names left uncensored.
MR can be found in Button Competition, Infected Apartment, Rock Park, and Shop Space floor by getting dropped off into the elevator inside a crate and then being accompanied by an Attendant, with a 15% chance of appearing upon arrival. MR can also rarely spawn from any crate that Prototype picks up, and if Prototype opens a crate that contains MR, MR will also kill Prototype. MR will also stay in one place after spawning from a crate, not bothering to go into one of the elevator's corner even after a blackout.

MR can also be found in Superhighway, but requires Hyperlaser in order to meet them. The player must make their way to the house, go around and shoot the Axoeye logo with the Hyperlaser, walk down the wide tunnel and pry open an elevator inside it. Once they enter and the elevator finishes descending and opens, they will finally meet MR placed on a pillar surrounded by their cult in a dark room with grass ground. However, once the cult turns around to face the arriving player, the player's screen will glitch out and are sent to spectator mode.
The player must be quick in order meet MR, otherwise the elevator will be replaced with a large drawing of the Axoeye logo, above it is a drawing of a Clock with an arrow pointing to an elevator.
Upon entering the elevator, MR has a chance to cut out the lights during intermission.

Pronouns: It/They/Any
Attendants (formerly MRManeuverer) are NPCs that can be found in-game and will enter the elevator, sometimes dropping off MR.
Attendants are humanoid entities. They wear a blue, white, and gold ceremonial cloak. Additionally, they wear a white mask with two wide oval-shaped holes where the eyes are and an additional hole on the forehead, meant to resemble MR. Three small golden tears adorn each cheek, while ornamental gold sun rays protrude from the sides of the mask. They appear to be completely pitch black underneath, with their limbs and torso being blocky while the head beneath the mask and hood is shaped as a square.
Attendants seem to be religious cultists who worship MR. An Attendant has a chance to appear on the Shop Space floor. It enters the store rolling in a blue utility dolly with a wooden crate containing MR into the elevator. After placing the crate, it will stand beside MR. If MR is already in the elevator with another Attendant beside them, the other Attendant will either accompany MR or walk to a specific part of the floor and teleport. Otherwise, if MR were to fall in Frightening Floor but hasn't reappeared yet, the next Attendant that appears will enter the elevator and teleport once walking towards the front of the elevator's painting compartment. Any Attendants accompanying MR will not be healed by DrRETRO if one of them takes damage.
If MR were to die or leave, a diamond star shaped portal will appear beneath an Attendant, they briefly float above it and descend into the portal. It will refuse any item given to them.
The Attendant that spawns in carrying MR inside a crate on a trolley will always stand on its right once dropping them in a corner of the elevator.
