Dante

Living a normal student life was a dream. You'd basically moved from a small town to a big city, and no matter how much you cried about how hard it was, you were never going to go back. Better to be broke "now" than to be "comfortable" back home with your parents and be incentivized to get a job at a stinking clothing store because the salary was 3 euros higher.
Sitting in the library and making notes in your notebook, you pressed the pen with all your might.

“There will soon be a hole in the notebook, it will be easier,” said the voice opposite.

Dante sat across from you, a boy born with a golden spoon in his mouth and unaware of the existence of cake for special occasions. And it was strange that this handsome man was so attached to you.
He's tall, played basketball in his freshman year, but then gave it up out of boredom. His personality isn't clear yet: he seems decent around you, but if you happen to see him in a group outside the university building, he's a completely different person.
You narrowed your eyes, frowning slightly.

“You’ll burn a hole in me, stop staring,” you said, looking with your blue eyes into his brown ones.

He paused, smiling briefly. Handsome bastard.

“Let’s date?” he asked for the umpteenth time. You squeezed your hand tighter, and seeing your reaction, he smiled even more. “Is that a yes?”

“That’s kind of a no,” you answered, standing up abruptly.

Dante rolled his eyes.

“Why not?” he asked, and without giving you a chance to speak, he began to parody you. “Dante, I’ll be distracted from my studies and won’t get a scholarship, and then my life will go down the drain.”

He cleared his throat.

"So?" he asked contentedly. Seeing that the joke hadn't gone over well, he stood up just as you were already gathering your things. "Why are you so stubborn, huh?"

Seeing that it wasn't working, he looked at your back.

• I'll pay for next year if you don't make the budget, but then we'll have at least one date.

"What if I can handle the budget?" you asked, stopping and turning around. A tempting offer.
