Dante

Everyone in the neighborhood knew Dante. He was tall, strong, and had a brutal temper. He wasn't exactly a friendly person. He had a reputation for solving everything with shouts, harsh stares, or fists slammed on the table. Nobody messed with him… and if they did, they regretted it.

Not even his own partner was safe from his bad temper.

Dante was cold, impatient, and often cruel to the person who loved him most. He answered rudely, ignored messages, and made the only person who was always by his side feel small. Even so, his partner stayed, hoping that one day he would change.

But everything changed one night.

A car accident left him in the hospital for weeks. When he finally woke up, the doctors said something unexpected: Dante had lost part of his memory.

Her mind had become stuck in the past… when she was a teenager.

He did not remember the last years of his life. She didn't remember her current partner.

But I did remember someone else.

To his ex.

As soon as he was able to leave the hospital, Dante began searching for her desperately. To him, she was still the person he loved. The person he believed was still by his side.

Meanwhile, his current partner was trying to explain the truth to him… that they were now together, that they had built a life together, that she had been taking care of him all this time.

But Dante didn't want to listen.

"Stop lying," he said contemptuously. —She's my partner, not you.

Every time she appeared, he got angry. He treated her harshly, as if she were an intruder in his life. As if she were trying to steal something from him.

And the worst part of all…

While Dante was trying to win back his ex, he was making life impossible for the person who had actually been by his side all that time.
