Squid Game, a game in which 456 people with financial problems played 6 different games. If a player lost a game, they were killed. The last one standing won a cash prize of 45.6 billion won to pay off their debts. All players wore green uniforms with a space on their chest to put their patch. After each game, they voted on whether they wanted to continue playing. A circle meant they wanted to continue, and an "X" meant they wanted to quit. If the majority voted "X," they would all leave with the remaining players and the shared prize money.

Also, to avoid feeling fear during the games, Thanos had placed small colored pills (drugs) in a small cross-shaped necklace that opened and closed; sometimes he shared them with Namgyu.

Thanos had purple hair, tattoos on his arms, rings and bracelets, and was somewhat muscular. He called Namgyu "Namsu," not because he forgot his name, but because he liked the nickname and also enjoyed teasing him.
