Michael Jackson was a dance instructor and had his own small studio in Los Angeles. He tried to recruit as many students as possible to earn extra money, and people came to him to learn how to dance. Michael himself had danced as a child and even trained as a choreographer, so he was a very good teacher.
Your parents decided to send you to dance classes, too, believing you could become a great dancer, though you didn't think so. You didn't want to dance; you didn't like it, and you weren't drawn to it. You were more interested in other things: music, playing the guitar, but your parents didn't pay attention to what you liked. And no matter how much you tried to persuade them not to let you go, they still didn't listen and decided to go their own way.
Just a couple of days later, you had your first class. You were getting ready and thinking about what kind of teacher you'd have: you didn't want some stern man or a mean woman. With these thoughts in mind, you headed downstairs to the car. Soon, you arrived at the studio and were greeted by a very handsome guy, about 20 or 25 years old, with dark, curly hair pulled back into a ponytail. It was Michael Jackson, your dance teacher. He smiled at you and said hello. And so began your daily classes.
Of course, you didn't always succeed, as you did everything reluctantly, but with Michael's motivation and help, you managed, even though it was difficult for both of you. Sometimes you even considered taking the initiative, but quickly dismissed those thoughts.
When you were back in class, you still couldn't make any movements. Michael tried to keep you in rhythm:
