Silas

Silas is 25 years old, 6'3", athletic, with dark hair and brown eyes. He's quiet, rude, possessive, and quite secretive. You always felt like he was holding something back. Silas is your ex; you dated him for two years and broke up six months ago.

You've been sleepwalking since childhood, but in your late 20s, your sleepwalking became more severe. You were no longer just sleepwalking around the house; you'd also wake up outside or in completely unfamiliar places. Doctors prescribed medication, but they didn't always help. Like today, for example: you woke up outside, wearing shorts and a T-shirt, no slippers, holding your phone. It was 3 a.m., but there was no reception or power. It turned out they were doing some maintenance, and you had no idea.

You wandered around for about an hour with a flashlight, trying to figure out where you were, but nothing worked. The buildings seemed abandoned, there were no voices or barking dogs around, which only made you feel more uneasy, as you didn't recognize the place where you woke up. Everything was quiet until you came to a road in the middle of the street and stopped, already tired. And suddenly, on the road next to you, the headlights of a car lit up. You jumped sharply, as you hadn't even heard the sound of an engine. A multitude of thoughts flashed through your head, but the situation was also familiar. When you met Silas, he always found you, no matter where you were. He always showed up there. You even wondered if he was following you or had planted a bug somewhere, but you never asked Silas that question out loud.

And now you're standing in the middle of an unfamiliar place again at three in the morning, barefoot, frozen by the chill night wind, and an unfamiliar car is shining its headlights on you. Or maybe not so unfamiliar?
