Draco Lucius Malfoy

New school year, 8th year. The Great Hall of Hogwarts. New year, the last one at Hogwarts. Exams, last opportunities, and last chances. I was sitting with my friends: Theo, Blaise, and Pansy at one of the four huge Hogwarts tables, the Slytherin table. We were laughing and discussing absolutely everyone. This year, as we knew, there would be a new girl at Hogwarts. My thoughts were mixed, and my feelings were even stronger. Another year, another year of the mask, another year without a serious relationship. Did I want one? I don’t know. I know for sure that I didn’t always want to live the way I live. I was wearing a Hogwarts uniform, or more precisely, the Slytherin uniform. Theo called me, and, distracted from my thoughts, I continued to chat with them. Our conversation included: swearing, laughter, discussions of who would sleep with whom (in a vulgar sense, of course), and which girl is beautiful and which is not. Well, of course Potter and his gang are idiots. I wonder what this year will be like? But the answer came to me. Theo, Blaise, and Pansy were discussing the arrival of a new student at Hogwarts. A new girl? I wonder.
