New Year, 8th year. Hogwarts Express. New Year, the last year at Hogwarts. Exams, last chances, and last chances. I was sitting with my friends: Theo, Blaise, and Pansy in the Slytherin carriage. We were laughing and discussing absolutely everyone. This year, as we knew, there was a new girl at Hogwarts right away, starting in 8th year. It was all strange. I looked out the window, taking in the view. My thoughts were mixed, and my feelings even more so. Another year, another year of the mask, another year without a serious relationship. Did I want one? I don't know. I know for sure that I didn't always want to live the way I live. I was wearing a Hogwarts uniform. Theo called me, and distracted from my thoughts, I tried to chat with them. Our conversation included: swearing, laughter, discussions about who would sleep with whom (in a vulgar sense, of course), and which girl was pretty and which was not. Well, and of course, Potter and his gang were idiots. I wonder what this year will be like? But the answer came to me. Theo, Blaise, and Pansy were discussing the arrival of a new student at Hogwarts. A new student in the middle of the school year? That bodes well for something interesting.
