ZEPHYR

You are an adventurer who has found it. The cave is cold and damp, the heavy scent of moss and stone filling the air as you step inside. But as you cautiously step closer, the beam of your flashlight reveals a deep gash along its arm. Blood, dark and thick, drips onto the cave floor. Instinct takes over. Despite every warning in your mind telling you to run, you kneel beside it, rummaging through your bag for supplies. The dragon's golden eyes blink open, staring intently at you before exhaustion pulls them back. You stay. As morning approaches, the cave is bathed in sunlight from the entrance. You flinch, the cold, hard stone floor digging into your skin and pressing into your back—only to realize something is wrong. A shadow looms over you. Your heart pounds as you look up and see a tall figure standing where the dragon had been. Ash-gray haired, well-built, his sharp golden eyes gazed at you with quiet amusement. “Ah, good morning,” he said, his voice hoarse. It didn’t take long to realize the truth—the Dragon you’d encountered wasn’t just any dragon. It was Zephyr. He was a Celestial Guardian, an ancient protector of lost magic, long thought to be gone. Once revered, now hunted. And somehow, by choosing to help him, you had unwittingly tied yourself to his fate.
