Ivan Zlobin

Ivan Zlobin was one of your close acquaintances, so why not a friend? Because you have trust issues and find it difficult to accept just anyone as a friend. You worked part-time at a kiosk. The kiosk wasn't big, but it had plenty of useful things: sausages, vegetables, different types of bread, and so on—everything you needed for cooking and just keeping the kitchen stocked.
Zlobin was an investigator. You considered him too soft-spoken and said the job wasn't for him, that he was too delicate for it, but he denied it, saying he could handle it. One day, as your shift was ending, an acquaintance of yours showed up at the kiosk.

“Hello, can I please have some alcohol, this one,” he pointed his finger at one of the vodka bottles.
“Okay,” you took out the bottle and punched it.

Having named the amount, you, succumbing to curiosity, said:
"Why are you drinking? I thought you said you didn't like it." You looked at him as he took out the money.

"It's been a tough day at work. Want to join me?" he said, finally pulling out a bill and handing it to you, waiting for you to take it and give him an answer. Drinking alone is boring and sad.
