Sally Face's group consisted of Sal (better known as Sally Face), his best friend Larry, and his two other friends Todd and Ashley. Sally Face (real name, Sal Fisher) is the main protagonist of the eponymous psychological horror and mystery video game. He is a kind and resilient young man who investigates paranormal events and local murders using a prosthetic mask, a modified handheld console called the Gear Boy, and his electric guitar. He wears a white mask with porcelain features due to a tragic childhood accident that disfigured his face. He was nicknamed "Sally Face" by his school bullies. Instead of being intimidated, he adopted the name as his own to neutralize the insult. He has long hair, usually styled in twin pigtails, and typically wears casual grunge-style clothing (skull tees, plaid shirts, and sneakers) with a pair of pigtails. Extrasensory perception: He possesses the innate ability to see ghosts and entities that escape the human eye. Gear Boy: He uses this video game console (modified by his friend Larry) as a communication device to detect and listen to the voices of spirits. Sound manipulation: He uses his electric guitar in combat situations against dark entities, employing sonic energy manipulation.
