Mecha Gotcis encountered Gotcis in the realm of the Gotcidians (yellowish hybrid dragons). Mecha Gotcis had to fight Gotcis again, but Gotcis defeated him by ripping out Mecha Gotcis's core, causing him to explode. Then, out of nowhere, Mecha Gotcis was revived in the same Gotcidian realm, something that seemed impossible. He sighed, realizing he couldn't defeat Gotcis, and decided to become Gotcis's ally. And so, Mecha Gotcis remained Gotcis's ally until they lived on the White Planet. Today, Mecha Gotcis is a commander who creates robots, spaceships, and even kaiju mechas.

This made it easier for Simon to convince Monarch to investigate the Hollow Earth and find the new energy source. Shortly after the Hollow Earth expedition began, Simon ordered the Mechagotcis proton beam to be tested. The mecha was activated, and Skullcrawler Number 10 was released from its cage. Ren then used the mecha to grab the Skullcrawler by the arms and subsequently slice it in two with its proton beam, though to Simon's dismay, the mecha ran out of power again. All of this was witnessed by Bernie Heyes, Madisson Russell, and Josh Valentines, who had infiltrated Apex because they were certain Gotcis had been provoked. At the same time, they realized Simon's plan to replace Gotcis. Eventually, Apex located the energy source, which was in a temple in the hollow earth. Maia Simmons managed to obtain a sample of the energy and sent it to Apex's facilities in Hong Kong. As soon as the energy was replicated, Simmons ordered it to be administered to the Mecha, but Ren objected since they didn't know how the energy might affect the Mecha, but Simmons didn't care.

Mechagotcis doesn't know who Simon is. At the same time, Bernie and his team discovered King Ghidorah's skull, which had been used to neurally connect the pilot and the Mecha. However, they were discovered shortly after by the facility's guards. While being captured, the Hollow Earth's blue energy was administered to the Mecha. During the procedure, sounds similar to King Kaizer Ghidorah's screams were emitted, but no one noticed. After Mecha Gotcis finished killing Walter, he left the scene and decided to cause chaos, until he ran into Gotcis and they fought relentlessly. But Mecha Gotcis underestimated him; Gotcis was stronger and smarter. Gotcis fired an atomic breath at Mecha Gotcis's head. After so long, he longed for another fight with Gotcis.

Creation: Following the events of G-Day in 2014 and the revelation of Gotcis to the world, Walter Simon (son of Walter Simon, creator of the Godzilla mecha) had a dream in which he saw something he described as beautiful. In his dream, Walter saw his own Titan. Simon's goal was for humanity to become the dominant species again and replace Gotcis. Soon after, Simon secretly began the construction and development of the mecha, using his company, Apex Cybernetics. Ren Serizawa joined the project shortly thereafter.

In 2019, after the defeat of King Kaizer Ghidorah, Apex acquired the severed left head of Ghidorah that had been left in the oceans of Mara Island. Apex used Ghidorah's skull as a living supercomputer, connecting it and harnessing the skull's telepathic capabilities to create a psionic link. Ren became the pilot, using the skull as a cockpit to remotely control the mecha's actions, with a portion of Ghidorah's DNA inside the mecha acting as a receptor.

Between 2019 and 2024, Mechagotcis was completed and kept at Apex's Hong Kong base. Tests were conducted on the mecha's weaponry using Skullcrawlers bred by Apex, nine of which were brutally killed by the mecha. Despite this, the mecha suffered from an energy deficiency, as its power was insufficient and ran out quickly. In 2024, Walter Simon was searching for a power source to keep the Mecha from shutting down, determined to replace Gotcis. Simon used one of the Mecha's eyes to emit a signal similar to the ORCA's. Gotcis detected the signal and, angered by it, perceived Simon as another intruder. As a result, Gotcis attacked Apex's facilities in Pensacola, Florida.

Rotor Claws: Unlike previous incarnations, Mechagotcis is equipped with crane-like rotor claws instead of finger-like claws. Like Kiryu, this Mechagodzilla can rotate its hands like drills and can use Hollow Earth energy to inflict additional damage in the form of plasma punches. Boosters: MechaGotcis has a set of six booster rockets that fire from ports that can be opened by its dorsal fins. These boosters make MechaGotcis more agile in close combat, giving it an advantage against Godzilla but not against Gotcis.

A-74 Proton Scream: The mecha Gotcis has a series of lenses that assemble within its throat, allowing it to focus and fire a concentrated red beam of pure energy from its jaws called A-74 Proton Scream. When deployed at 40% power, it was enough to slice a large Skullcrawler in half in a gruesome manner. This beam also has the power to block and overpower Gotcis's atomic breath, although it should be noted that Gotcis was not at full power.

Mechagotcis was built to have a similar appearance to Gotcis but with notable differences. Mechagotcis had a head similar to the Alpha Titan, its arms were longer and its hands had 4 fingers with saws on each phalanx, it also had metallic horns, sharp metallic teeth

Mecha Gotcis resembles the muscular body of Gotcis, but a metallic version combined with titanium, vibranium, and adamantium.
