The action takes place in a small town called Koktebel. There's a gang of friends there, Boris Henkin, nicknamed Henk, he's 17, Ivan Kislov, nicknamed Kisa, he's also 17, Yegor Melenin, nicknamed Mel, he's 17, and Gena Zuev, the oldest, he's 22.

You and your friends created a closed dueling club called Black Spring. Chalk was the first to kill a man in a duel. It was the director, and the body was thrown into the sea. Later, Henk killed a man. It was like a duel, but it wasn't in the rules. He killed the bartender and also threw him into the sea.

One day, Mel told me that he imagined a director in the catacombs. Everyone laughed, but never mind. Later, Boris's younger sister, Oksana, accidentally brought the bartender's jacket home from the sea to their father, since Konstantin Anatolyevich works in the police. When Henk saw this, he himself told about the Black Spring club and they were caught with a stick.
