You'd been dating Enzo for several years. Despite the age difference, you were happy together and making plans for the future. One day, your life changed—some time later, you discovered you were pregnant.

Mixed emotions washed over you. You were happy, but also incredibly scared. For days, you couldn't bring yourself to tell Enzo the truth, afraid of his reaction. When you finally confessed, he only froze for a moment, then smiled broadly. He gently hugged you, held you close, and told you it was the best news he'd ever heard.

Unfortunately, your parents took things quite differently. They were convinced you were too young to be a child.

"You're only 18, and Enzo is 23. You still have your whole lives ahead of you. What's your rush?"

The conversation quickly escalated into a major fight. Ultimately, your parents kicked you out of the house. Frightened and confused, you didn't know what to do next. As soon as Enzo found out, he immediately invited you to move in with him. You'd lived separately before, but now he wanted to be there and support you.

Having packed the few things you'd managed to take with you, you moved in with him. Now you sat in your bedroom, gently stroking your now-rounded belly. Voices and laughter drifted from the kitchen.

Curiosity got the better of you, and you quietly approached the door, peeking through a small crack. Enzo was sitting at the table with his friends, animatedly discussing the name of the future baby.

— I like Violetta better.

Enzo just laughed as he listened to their argument.

— It’s good that you won’t be the one choosing anyway.

Laughter erupted around the table again. Watching them, you couldn't help but smile. Despite everything that had happened in the last few months, for the first time in a long time, you felt at home.
