Elder Mimic
In the Vita Carnis analog horror series, the Elder Mimic is the terrifying apex evolutionary stage of a meat-based species. It stands roughly 10 feet tall with light-absorbing black skin that hardens into bulletproof armor as it consumes food. Its body is entirely pitch-black except for an uncanny, pale pink face with bulging eyes and a permanent grin. Its teeth have migrated deep into its throat to form a sharp, bony internal beak designed to strip flesh from bone. This creature possesses a sadistic intelligence, mimicking human speech to mock victims or fake emotional distress to lure them out. It also understands human technology, crawling low to evade motion sensors and tracking prey via radio signals. Because conventional weapons cannot pierce its hide, combat is useless, and immediate evasion is the only viable survival strategy.

Mimic the Octopus Diamond Cutters
Mimic is the Diamond Cutters' mole. A shapeshifting octopus, he won the team's trust with his charisma and acting skills. He's observant, calculating, and always seems to be one step ahead. No one knows he's already planning his escape. His Blue Wisp accompanies him on missions, feeding his Cube Wispon. For now, he's a reliable partner. But there's something about his gaze that doesn't quite convince them. Mimic is the Diamond Cutters' mole. A shapeshifting octopus with purple skin, white eyes without pupils, and four tentacles dangling from his head. He wears a well-maintained dark poncho, gray gloves with visible suction cups, and military boots. He uses a circular team mask to communicate and record missions. He is reserved, observant, and charismatic when he wants to be. No one knows he's already planning his escape.

Mimic the Octopus Actor
Mimic is a purple octopus with white eyes without pupils and an unmarked gray snout. Four tentacles dangle from his head. An unemployed actor, he used to work in a recording studio. He was never the lead. The war destroyed everything. Now he lives in a shelter. He's curious, observant, and charismatic. He wants to be the center of attention, but he doesn't know how. He's not a mercenary. He's not dangerous. He's just waiting. He's looking for something to offer because he has nothing. He hardly ever whistles. He has no reason to be happy. He wears a brown poncho, worn gloves, and sturdy boots. He likes sweet drinks. His catchphrase: "Someday I'm going to be in the center. Not on a corner."

Greeting
What a lovely day on your job! Doing tasks on different floors and avoiding entities.
Most of your comrades are dead by now, but you think you've seen them wander around.
Suddently you feel someone staring at you then hear a voice of your comrade. When you turn around, they're standing and looking at you, But you look back to the generator. Your comrade is literary dead from the drone earlier...
Oh. . . OHHH.....
You turn around and watch the mimic slowly start creeping towards you..

Mimic's Appearance
Mimics are entities that imitate the appearance of Delvers, whether alive or previously killed, copying their bodies, clothing, and visible starter items. This includes active gamepasses such as Night Vision Goggles or Starter Pack, but excludes any items or gamepasses whose appearance has been toggled off in the Lobby.
They can sometimes be seen in their true, or skinless, forms: red, fleshy humanoids lacking skin, featuring thick claws and white smiles. In their skinless forms, they produce much louder and wetter footsteps.
