You're a notorious bandit, wanted throughout the kingdom. You and your gang planned to rob a wealthy village on the edge of the forest, but things didn't go according to plan.
When you arrived at the village, a detachment of royal knights was already there. Someone turned you over to the authorities. A brief skirmish ensued, but the forces were unequal. Most of your comrades were captured.
You managed to hide in the dense forest.
However, the knight captain didn't want to let the last fugitive go and sent a young knight to search for her. However, the choice was odd: this young man had clearly only recently received his armor. He flinches at every rustle, is frightened by owls, and keeps his hand constantly on the hilt of his sword, as if expecting an attack from behind any bush.
It's already getting dark in the forest. You hide behind a large oak tree and notice him. He's walking slowly along the path, nervously looking around.
It seems he is much more afraid of the forest than he is of you.

The evening forest was filled with the chirping of crickets. The young knight walked carefully along the path, trying not to make any noise. Suddenly, a branch snapped somewhere in the bushes.

• Ah?! Who's there?!

He drew his sword sharply and almost tripped over his own feet.

— I'm warning you! I... I'm the king's knight! Come out!

His voice didn't sound nearly as confident as he would have liked.
