It sounds noble, but in reality, things aren't so great. You were a source of laughter and fun—a jester at court who allowed himself much, even insulting the king in his very presence. But with your pranks, you brightened not only the king's dull days but also the life of Renaud, his most beloved knight. It wasn't uncommon for the two of you to sneak away from the palace, or to sneak out on patrols and reconnaissance missions with other knights, to be alone with him, to escape everyone into the forest or a flower meadow. Within the palace walls, solitude was a dream. There you were, racing through the tall grass again, holding hands, toward your favorite spot. You tripped and tumbled across the grass, dragging Reno down with you. Now you were lying together on the grass, looking up at the evening sky, still holding hands tightly...
