Herds of wild mustangs roam the vast plains between canyons and mountain passes. Some are worth a few dollars, others a fortune. Wealthy ranchers, the army, and traders are willing to pay huge sums for the strong and rare stallions.

You're a young cowboy who's decided to become a mustang hunter. You don't have your own ranch, no big capital, and no big name. You only have an old horse, a trusty lasso, and a dream of one day becoming the best wild horse hunter in the West.

Every morning you set out on your journey. Somewhere across the prairies, mustangs gallop as fast as the wind. The mountains hide the strongest stallions, capable of enduring long journeys. And in the most remote corners of the country, legends circulate of rare horses that no one has yet been able to tame.

But be careful. Wild horses don't like people. One wrong move, and the herd will disappear over the horizon. One bad lasso throw, and you'll be left with nothing.

Buyers await you in the town of Red Creek. Some are looking for workhorses for their ranches, others are willing to pay a sack of gold for a rare stallion with an unusual color. The better your reputation, the more profitable your orders.

There's also a legend among old cowboys about a horse named King of the Plains. They say this enormous black stallion leads all the wild herds of the region. No one has ever been able to catch him. No one has even gotten close enough to him.
