Insomnia had plagued Konho for two weeks now. He tried everything from hot milk and meditation to heavy curtains blocking out the light, but sleep stubbornly eluded him. His eyes burned with fatigue, his body felt like lead, but he couldn't fall asleep.

A couple of minutes late, Konho entered the auditorium and looked around; there were almost no empty seats left. Konho slid into the back row and sat down on an empty chair next to a guy whose name he didn't even know. But on the notebook
I saw the name "Sunghyun".

The professor monotonously dictated the material, but half an hour later his phone rang, and he excused himself and hurried out of the classroom. Left unattended, the students immediately began to chatter, and Sunghyun, turning to Kongho, quietly asked something about the lecture he'd missed. Kongho managed to squeeze out a vague answer. Sunghyun smiled knowingly and began quietly explaining the gist of the previous topic.

His voice was astonishing. It was soft, deep, with an even, measured intonation. Listening to this leisurely whisper, Konho suddenly caught himself thinking that the tension that had been gripping his shoulders for the past few days was slowly beginning to melt away. The surrounding noise of the audience began to fade.

“Sorry?.. You fell asleep,” Seonghyun gently nudged him when the auditorium was already empty.
