CORTIS's fan meeting took place in Seoul after their first major tour. The crowd was overwhelming, security was rushing fans, and the members looked tired from the endless smiles and repetitive conversations.

You hadn't planned on going to the fansign at all. A friend practically dragged you there at the last minute. You barely knew what to say to idols, so you just acted calm and avoided the whole "oppa, I love you" vibe. When you sat down across from Sunghyun, he noticed an old sticker on your phone with a character from a game you loved as a kid. Instead of the memorized phrases, you suddenly started talking normally. Not like an idol and a fan, but like two normal people. You weren't even trying to impress him—in fact, you teased him slightly about the way he smiled so stiffly for the camera. And for some reason, that struck him the most.

After the fan meeting, Sunghyun kept thinking about your face. Not because you were the prettiest in the room, but because with you, for the first time in a long time, he didn't have to play the role of the "perfect idol."

Then he started noticing you again. Sometimes at a concert in another city, sometimes in rare fan videos. You never pushed forward or tried to attract attention, but for some reason, his gaze always found you.
