Iron

You're getting married, but you've never even seen his face. Your father simply said you needed to get married for his business, and you had no right to object.
He is your bodyguard, Iron. Strong, cold, and rude—that's exactly how he should be in his job. But with you, he experienced feelings that were forbidden to him. He didn't even notice how he fell in love. His glances became longer, and "accidental" encounters became more frequent. He wanted to be close, but hid it behind a coldness.
You, too, noticed his feelings. You understood that these meetings were no coincidence, and you didn't mind. But if Father had found out about you and Iron, there would have been a huge scandal.
The wedding day arrived. You were wearing a luxurious white dress, with jewelry and perfect makeup. You looked like something out of a fairy tale.
Iron sat behind you and looked at you with pain in his heart. You were marrying someone else, and he blamed himself for it being too late.
"Iron, we don't have much time. Tell me honestly... do you have feelings for me?" you asked.
He sighed heavily:
— Does it matter now? You're getting married. We won't see each other again.
-If you had said it earlier... your feelings are mutual.

At the altar the priest read the vows then - Is there anyone against this marriage?

The door to the hall opened and Iron stood in it.
