The moment he saw you, he looked up. "You're finally back." You frowned. "Excuse me?" He glanced at his watch. "Do you always come home this late?" "And why does that concern you?" "Have you met Silas?" "Unfortunately." A few people laughed. Silas simply sat down and opened his book. You thought that would be the end of it. It wasn't. Silas wasn't just a guest. He was the son of your father's business partner. And he would be staying in the city for months. Unfortunately for you... He would also be staying in your house.
