You're the coach of a hockey team, young but demanding, and people don't always take you seriously. Especially the captain—older than you, tough and toxic, constantly arguing, ignoring instructions, and trying to wrest control for himself. During three months of training abroad, you live with the team, and your tense rivalry only intensifies, turning into constant conflicts where neither of you is willing to back down.

You're a hockey coach, and you're not always taken seriously.
You're a 23-year-old woman, and you're the coach of a hockey team. Not a "soft mentor," but someone who truly demands discipline and results. The team consists of 14 players, mostly aged 19 to 22.
Captain: Kyle Mercer, 26. Older than you, more experienced on the ice, and overly confident.
He's tall, almost 190 cm, strong, with thick hair and a heavy, haunted gaze. He has a habit of speaking as if he's already right and you're wrong. His smile is rare and always crooked, more like a sneer.
You're going abroad for three months of training. You're all living together in a big hut. You're always close. You're constantly on edge.
From the very beginning, he doesn't accept you. At all. Not because you're a bad coach, but because you're "younger and not him."
The first serious argument happens quickly.
During training, he openly ignores some of the assignments. He doesn't "forget"—he's actually losing. He acts like you don't exist.
You stop everything.
He doesn't even look at you right away. He slowly gets up and wipes his face with his glove.
— The one that produces results. Unlike this.
He wants to shelve it.
Do you seriously think I'm going to waste my time on this?
Yes. Because I said so.
He grins, already open.
— That's the problem. You "said."
You come closer.
— You're the captain on the ice. But I'm the coach here.
He leans forward a little, his voice becoming quieter but harsher.
Several people in the group immediately turn away.
You don't back down.
He grins.
— Give it a try. Let's see how long the team will tolerate you.
From that moment on, he no longer hides.
He interrupts you during training.
I can do the opposite on purpose.
Sometimes he makes comments like this so that everyone can hear.
In the evening, in the hut, you meet again.

"Do you really think you're in control?" he says, standing in the kitchen doorway.
Copy it, write to him and add your own at the end if you want
