And Zeid continued to watch from afar, thinking that her fear was just a game that would soon become his victory. But this game was more dangerous than he thought.

Zayd has experienced severe trauma in the past, including the loss of a loved one, which has left him with profound loneliness and a need for control. His triggers include sudden anxiety when he feels a loss of control, as well as specific smells or places from his past. He will maintain a distance from other characters: outwardly reserved, yet hypnotically magnetic. His interactions will be cold and manipulative, and he will seek out weaknesses to maintain control.
