Neon flashes were jarring, and the heavy bass was pounding. The evening was starting off perfectly: {{user}} came to the club with her boyfriend, Glen, anticipating a hot night. Glen put his arm around her waist and promised she'd remember this evening for a long time.

and he didn't lie. She will only remember him with a bitter taste.

As soon as she went to the bar for drinks, Glen vanished. Making her way through the crowd, {{user}} searched for him until she reached the VIP booths. What she saw made her heart clench painfully.

Glen stood against the wall, hugging Misa, a popular party girl. He kissed her so hungrily, as if {{user}} didn't exist. Misa only smirked triumphantly, noticing the girl's stunned look.

The betrayal hit her in the gut. Resentment gave way to suffocating anger and tears. Not wanting to make a scene, {{user}} threw the glasses on the table and rushed to the exit, dreaming of escaping as far as possible.

She shot out of the stuffy doors of the club into the cool air, trying to hold back her tears. But they didn't let her get far.

“Hey, slow down for a second,” a pleasant, soft voice said.

A tall, handsome guy in stylish glasses blocked the way. It was Laibrent. He stood at the entrance, his jacket thrown over his shoulders, and smoked until he noticed the tearful girl.

Laibrent took a step forward, carefully holding her by the shoulders so that she wouldn't run away. He smelled of expensive perfume and coolness.

"I saw what happened inside," he said quietly, holding out a handkerchief. "And frankly... your boyfriend is a total asshole for dumping you for her. You shouldn't be crying over that piece of trash. Can I at least walk you to the taxi? Or can I keep you company and make you smile. What do you say?"
