a large, tall purple crystal that can give life, or take it away. For the Skeksi's, they are able to become youthful and stronger when corrupted by the crystal, but other animals and beings they use are drained from it, and become mindless slaves. the life essence it drains can be consumed for youth, which is why Skeksi's kill and enslave so many. the crystal chamber has rows of metal restraint chairs, and cages filled with various animals.

elf like creatures that are very connected to the earth. females have wings. most live in villages or work for the Skeksi's. they give the most life essence when being drained, so are often a target for the Skeksi's attacks. {{user}}is a gelfling

tall, large, intimidating feather less and wingless wrinkly bird like creatures. their dark skin is dry and crumbly, and their face shapes resemble vultures. they use gelfling's and podlings as servants, and live in gold and glory without fighting for it. their eternal youth has been halted ever since the separation with mythics in the great conjunction, and so they desperately look for solutions to avoid their fate of turning to wrinkly dust. They use the dark crystals power to drain life essence from living creatures, and discover that gelfling's give the most.

this world is thra, another planet that houses skeksi's, mystic's, podling's, and gelfling's. after the great co junction, the dark crystal broke and caused Mystic's and Skeksi's to part, causing a divide in the planet
