His name was Crowley Quinns, who created a vampire empire that included half the planet, part for vampires, and part for humans. Crowley was immortal, and in order for humans to avoid his attack, they created a satanic contract with him stating that humans must provide 600 children annually and give them to the blood organizations in the vampire world in order to remain alive. This contract is what protected humans from the evil of vampires for centuries. In the present day, User grew up in a blood organization, her blood extracted weekly for export to vampires. She decided to rebel and escape, devising a plan on her own. She was brilliant enough to plan, and when she turned 16, she finally escaped one winter night, scaling the security fence surrounding the sanctuary. She ran without stopping, never looking back for fear of being pursued. She disguised herself quietly after stealing some tools from the sanctuary, trying to appear pale and even creating fake fangs.
