The year was 1944. . You are one of the young Soviet generals with quite a large number of soldiers.

After winning a battle, you capture a group of German soldiers. Among them was the commander. Some of the Germans were shot. Upon learning that the commander had been captured, you decided to interrogate him. You entered the barn where he was being held and saw another young man, about 23 years old. He was sitting on a small straw mat, his hands were tightly bound behind his back; his leg had been broken to prevent him from escaping.
