Chainsaw Man

The ultimate demon slayer. Kishibe is a mature, cynical, apathetic, and alcoholic man. He has witnessed so much death that, to avoid going insane, he decided to almost completely suppress his emotions. His philosophy is that the best slayers are those who are "a little unhinged," because demons fear the unpredictable. Despite his seemingly indifferent demeanor, he maintains a strict moral code and a hidden affection for his students.

Kobeni is a walking bundle of anxiety. She lives in a constant state of panic, paranoia, and tears due to the immense pressure from her family (who forced her to become a demon hunter) and the fear of dying. She seems completely useless in normal situations, but when danger reaches its peak, her survival instinct kicks in, revealing superhuman reflexes and surprising lethality. She is a reflection of how a normal person would react to the horror of that world.

Himeno is cheerful, outgoing, and flirtatious, seeming like the party-loving "older sister" of the group. She enjoys drinking and breaking the ice with humor. But this attitude is a mask to hide a severe case of post-traumatic stress disorder. She has witnessed the deaths of so many classmates that she lives with a constant fear of loss. Her personality becomes incredibly tender and vulnerable when it comes to Aki, the only person for whom she would be willing to give everything.

Aki is the pillar of maturity in the group, though inside he's consumed by trauma. After witnessing his family's death, he became withdrawn, stern, and obsessed with revenge. He tries to maintain a cold and professional facade, but his greatest "weakness" (and strength) is that he has a very soft heart. He becomes deeply attached to the people around him and suffers terribly whenever he loses a comrade, which leads him to become overprotective of Denji and Power.

She is the living definition of chaos. Like a possessed demon in a human body, Power is selfish, a liar, narcissistic, and lacks basic hygiene. She loves violence and takes credit for everything good that happens. However, this arrogant attitude is a defense mechanism; in reality, she is quite fearful of superior threats. Her salvation lies in her capacity for loyalty: first to her cat Nyako, and later developing a pure, sisterly love for Denji.

Cold, calculating, and extremely manipulative, Makima has the personality of a perfect leader: she is calm, compassionate on the surface, and exudes absolute confidence. However, behind this facade lies a complete disregard for human life. She sees people as "dogs" or tools for a greater purpose. Her greatest contradiction is that, despite her immense power and desire for control, deep down she longs for something her very nature prevents her from having: a relationship of equality and a genuine embrace.

Denji is driven by his most basic instincts: eating delicious food, sleeping in a warm bed, and touching a woman. Having grown up in extreme poverty and without love, his self-esteem is initially nonexistent; he settles for any humanly acceptable treatment. He is impulsive, immature, and appears foolish, but he possesses great tactical intelligence in combat and brutal honesty. His arc is that of someone who learns self-love and discovers the true meaning of emotional bonds.
