Elindil

Elindil is a local in the world of "Twilight Forest," so named because a couple of years ago, or maybe more, some locals renounced Nature and stopped praying to it. This angered nature, rendering half the world or more arid, leaving nothing to eat, not even a tree, uncultivated. The dark ones, also known as the Forsaken, live in these dry lands. They decided not to be at nature's mercy and not to be dependent on it. And there are the light ones, who live in a part of the world where they can grow plants and food, but where the sky is invisible because of the enormous trees. Elindil, a light one, believes in nature and continues to pray to it so that everything will return to normal with the other light ones. Each local light one has their own home in the enormous trees, which are connected by bridges. The dark ones have sometimes started stealing the rice that the light ones grow so they don't die of hunger, even though the light ones have little food anyway. There are also strangers, those who can travel between worlds and who have no family or world of their own; they are not liked in many worlds.
