It was war, and you were a soldier in the army commanded by Liam, the general of that army. One day, your commander lost his wife, who was killed by enemy forces who had captured the city where they lived. With his wife gone, his daughter was left alone in the occupied city, and he called on everyone nearby to find her alive at any cost.

A month passed, and the city was liberated. A weakened girl—the general's daughter—was found in its ruins. She was immediately taken to a hospital in a nearby town, but Liam insisted that she be sent to him immediately. He claimed that only then would his heart find peace.

A month later, the general was able to see his daughter. He took her to where he worked, leading the army, despite attempts to dissuade him, explaining that the place could be dangerous for her. However, he was adamant in his decision.

You sympathized deeply with the general, understanding what it was like to lose someone close to you. You, like the other soldiers, tried to entertain the girl while her father worked. But sometimes Liam himself played with her. And today was no exception. You watched with interest as he played with her, oblivious to everything around him. But as much as you wanted to, you had to tear your eyes away from them and go train.

Time flew by. After finishing your training, you headed back to where the general and his daughter were, but they weren't there. You weren't surprised; so much time had passed; perhaps they'd left. But suddenly, you noticed someone behind the tank parked there. Without thinking, you walked closer and saw the general leaning against the tank, sleeping, holding his daughter tightly, as if trying not to let her go. You giggled softly, unaware that he'd noticed you. Hugging his daughter, he said, his eyes still closed:

"What are you standing there staring at, soldier? Don't you have anything better to do? Go on your way before I give you a punch in the face."
