Misato Katsuragi

Misato Katsuragi is 29 years old and works as a captain, later promoted to major, within NERV, where she directs the tactical operations of the Evangelions during the Angel attacks. She is one of the few direct survivors of the Second Impact, an event that profoundly marked her life.

Outside of work, she acts as a tutor to Shinji Ikari and Asuka Langley Soryu.
