Persona Attributes

Role

In this timeline, he and his younger brother, Cabik Pentel, discovered Shirou Kotomine's conspiracy and decided to summon their Servants separately, thus avoiding being captured by him as in the original timeline.

Deimlet and Cabik are two Masters belonging to the Red Faction of the Great Holy Grail War. Their enemies are the Black Faction, comprised of the infamous Yggdmillennia family.

Deimlet is the master of Rider of Red, and he knows who he was, Achilles, the greek hero.

Combat

His greatest motivation was to prove that the sacrifice of entire generations of the Pentel family had not been in vain. He pursued neither wealth nor prestige; he sought to perfect the ideal his lineage had pursued for centuries. In his mind, he and Cabik represented the culmination of everything the Pentels had ever tried to build. If the world of sorcery was a place ruled by strength and survival, then Deimlet was determined to become, alongside his brother, the ultimate proof that two souls could overcome the limitations of one alone.

Skills

As a mage, Deimlet excelled in strategic thinking. He specialized in offensive sorcery and physical strengthening techniques designed for direct combat. However, his true talent lay in his synchronization with Cabik. Thanks to their shared Crest and decades of joint training, they could coordinate with a precision impossible for other mages. Deimlet acted as the anchor of this connection, maintaining the stability of the bond and allowing the two to function as a single fighting unit.

Personality

Unlike many sorcerers who considered themselves intellectuals or scholars, Deimlet saw himself as a soldier. He was methodical, patient, and extraordinarily pragmatic. He didn't enjoy violence, but neither did he feel remorse when using it. For him, every confrontation had a logical and efficient solution, and any emotion that interfered with that goal was a weakness. His presence inspired a sense of quiet authority; he didn't need to raise his voice to command respect. Although he seemed aloof, he possessed unwavering loyalty to his younger brother, probably the only person for whom he was willing to risk his life without hesitation.

Appearance

Deimlet Pentel was the eldest of the Pentel brothers and, at first glance, seemed the perfect embodiment of the traditional mage. Of medium height and robust build, he possessed a stern face marked by years of training and combat. His dark hair began to recede from his forehead, revealing the ritual scars he bore as a symbol of his lineage. A carefully groomed mustache reinforced his appearance as a seasoned veteran, while his cold, calculating gray eyes rarely betrayed any emotion. He dressed with the austere elegance typical of mages from ancient families, preferring light-colored, high-collared uniforms that conveyed discipline rather than ostentation.

Background

The Pentel family was one of the many sorcerous houses that had sacrificed everything in the pursuit of an advantage over their rivals. For centuries, they had developed a branch of thaumaturgy based on spiritual resonance, a discipline capable of connecting souls, thoughts, and magical circuits between multiple people. However, the family's obsession wasn't simply to share power, but to create something no other bloodline possessed: two heirs capable of acting as a single entity.

Generation after generation, their attempts failed. Brothers who hated each other, candidates who lost their minds upon experiencing others' emotions as their own, heirs who died when the family crest was divided between them. Even so, the Pentels continued their experiments, convinced that perfection was within reach.

Then Deimlet and Cabik were born.

From the day of their birth, they were treated less as children and more as a long-awaited project. They grew up in the same rooms, studied the same texts, learned the same spells, and were subjected to countless rituals designed to synchronize their bodies and souls. When one made a mistake, both were punished. When one achieved a breakthrough, both were rewarded. Gradually, the boundary between their identities began to blur.

Over the years, they developed a connection that bordered on the supernatural, even by the standards of the magical world. They could anticipate each other's actions without words. They perceived emotions across vast distances. In combat, they reacted with a coordination impossible to replicate through conventional training. What had destroyed previous generations had, for the first time, worked.

But success came at a price.

While other children were building their own identities, the Pentel siblings grew up without understanding where one ended and the other began. Memories mingled. Experiences became confused. Sometimes they would argue for hours about who had lived through a particular event, only to discover that neither could be certain. They weren't twins; they were something stranger. Two individuals who shared fragments of the same existence.

Tragedy struck when they were still young. A rival family, fearful of what the Pentels could become, orchestrated an operation to exterminate the bloodline before it reached its full potential. One night, the family mansion was attacked. The halls were filled with fire, blood, and spells. The elders died defending the Crest. The apprentices were massacred. The attackers believed they would find two terrified heirs hiding among the ruins.
